MEET MAUREEN
I’ve always been an active person at heart. Growing up, I played a variety of sports, including volleyball, tennis, basketball, and swimming, and even dabbled in skateboarding. However, life took a different turn as I got older. Marriage, kids, and a more sedentary lifestyle led me to indulge in unhealthy habits, and before I knew it, I had gained over 100 pounds. It wasn’t until I began experiencing joint pain, high blood pressure, and other health struggles that I realized something had to change. After consulting my doctor, I committed to a healthier lifestyle. It was a challenging journey, but with determination, motivation, the adoption of sustainable habits, and hiring an amazing personal trainer/friend, I successfully lost 100 pounds.
Inspired by my transformation, I pursued education in evidence-based fitness and nutrition, earning certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Now, my passion is helping others navigate their own health journeys, proving that no one has to face these challenges alone.
With a robust expertise spanning CES (Certified Exercise Specialist), CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach), and CPT (Certified Personal Trainer), I bring a comprehensive approach to health and fitness. My specialties lie in designing personalized fitness programs, optimizing nutritional strategies, and addressing unique physical needs to help clients achieve their goals efficiently and sustainably. Combining these certifications, I emphasize holistic well-being, focusing on strength, endurance, and balanced nutrition for long-term success..
